Location: Melksham Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join the team in Melksham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in grounds maintenance who is looking for a full-time, long-term position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of general grounds maintenance duties, ensuring outdoor areas are maintained to a high standard.

Duties may include:

Grass cutting and strimming

*

Hedge trimming and pruning

*

Weeding and general landscaping duties

*

Maintaining gardens, green spaces and communal areas

*

Using grounds maintenance machinery and equipment

*

General upkeep and maintenance of outdoor areas

*

Working as part of a team to ensure work is completed to a high standard

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

Strong previous experience in grounds maintenance

*

A full UK Driving Licence – essential

*

Experience using grounds maintenance machinery and equipment

*

A good understanding of general grounds maintenance practices

*

A reliable and hardworking attitude

*

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

*

Good attention to detail and pride in their work
