As a Groups, Conferences & Events Sales Executive, you'll do far more than process enquiries-you'll drive revenue, build lasting client relationships and create memorable event experiences in one of the UK's busiest MICE hotels.
We are looking for a results-driven, commercially minded sales professional to join our high-performing team at the Hotel of the Year, located on Brighton's vibrant seafront.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Manage group, conference and event enquiries from initial enquiry through to contract confirmation.
• Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, consistently achieving conversion and revenue targets.
• Identify opportunities to maximize revenue through upselling, cross-selling and effective negotiation.
• Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and overcoming objections to secure business.
• Arrange and conduct hotel show rounds to showcase our facilities and services.
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure a seamless handover and exceptional guest experience.
• Manage event administration accurately, maintaining contracts, quotations and customer records.
• Contribute towards departmental sales targets and the overall commercial success of the hotel.
• Support promotional activities and represent the hotel professionally to grow future business.

What are we looking for?
A Groups, Conferences & Events Sales Executive serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and alongside other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate:

• A results-driven approach with a genuine passion for sales.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to maximize every sales opportunity.
• Confidence in negotiating, overcoming objections and closing business.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A professional and confident telephone manner.
• The ability to build lasting client relationships.
• A proactive, positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced MICE environment.
• Previous experience in Sales or Hotel Sales.
• High level of IT skills.
• The right to work in the UK.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Previous experience within Conference & Events or Hospitality Sales.
• Knowledge of Hilton systems or other hotel sales and property management systems.
• Experience working within the MICE sector.
• A qualification in Hospitality, Business, Sales or Events Management.
