Group Finance Manager | Manchester (Hybrid) | £80,000 - £90,000 + Car Allowance + Private Healthcare | Global PLC
Axon Moore are partnering with a global PLC in Manchester who are looking to add a Group Finance Manager to their team on a full time permanent basis. This would be suited to a technically strong ACA/ACCA qualified accountant who can take ownership of financial accounting and reporting across a portfolio of UK & international entities.
This is a high-profile role within the Group Finance Leadership Team, providing an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong international financial reporting experience to lead a sizeable team and influence financial processes across a complex, multi-entity environment.
Responsibilities include:
Lead, coach and develop a sizeable team of accountants across multiple locations.
Oversee the timely and accurate delivery of monthly financial statements into the Group consolidation.
Drive improvements to month-end close processes, with a focus on accelerating reporting timelines.
Strengthen balance sheet review processes, identifying and communicating key financial risks and opportunities to senior leadership.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP requirements and relevant statutory reporting obligations.
Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and financial reporting packs across the European entities.
Manage the Group audit and local statutory audits, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely resolution of audit queries.
Maintain and continuously improve the Group's internal controls framework across key financial and operational processes.
Support senior finance leadership on complex accounting matters, acquisitions, disposals and wider Group Finance projects.
Ideal candidate:
ACA/ACCA Qualified ideally from an audit backround
Extensive financial accounting and reporting experience within an international or listed organisation.
Strong knowledge of IFRS
Proven experience managing and developing finance teams
Excellent communication and influencing skills
