Job Description
PURPOSE OF ROLE
The role of the Group Supplier Management & Audit Manager is to provide support to the whole business in supplier approval management systems, providing supplier audits that drive standardisation and improvements across supply chains and supporting Hilton Foods sites in the delivery of the Hilton Foods Standard, driving best practice through a consistent audit system.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage the Group Audit team to ensure they understand and are trained to the audit protocol and Supplier Standards criteria
- Manage the scheduling of supplier audits across all key areas with clear communication to the auditors
- Ensuring calibration of auditors is carried out to agreed protocol
- To communicate all major issues raised in audits to key stakeholders ensuring appropriate actions are taken minimising risk to the business
- Development and review of supplier standards to agreed protocol working collaboratively with the business regions
- To have a good understanding of all food safety global standards and relevant legislation
- To support new businesses in the introduction to Foods Connected and the Hilton Foods supplier management policies
- Support in new supplier visits and audits where required
- To support with Factory Standards development and review and to audit Hilton Foods sites compliance against the Standard requirements
- To support in the update of internal policies and guidelines and customer standards to ensure internal and external standards are aligned
- Support the Global Executive Director for Quality and the regional Quality Directors in thedeliveryof Quality strategy by working on specific projects and initiatives across the group
- Manage quality projects within assigned timescales
- Manage and develop relationships with site management teams and suppliers
Key Experience, Knowledge And Skills
- Degree or equivalent training
- Lead Auditor trained
- Minimum 2 years in relevant industry role
- Attention to detail in all work carried out
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to write detailed and accurate reports
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Pragmatic
- Fluent English
