Our client is seeking an engaging and proactive Guest Relations Manager to join their esteemed hotel in the heart of Birmingham . You will be the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring an exceptional and personalized experience from arrival to departure. This role is crucial in maintaining the hotel's reputation for outstanding customer service and guest loyalty. You will work closely with various hotel departments to anticipate guest needs and resolve any issues swiftly and professionally, creating memorable stays for all visitors. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for service excellence and a keen eye for detail, contributing to a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously, aiming for first-contact resolution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, encouraging repeat business and positive reviews.
- Coordinate with departments like housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints with empathy and professionalism, turning potential issues into positive outcomes.
- Implement and oversee guest loyalty programs and special initiatives to enhance the guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a guest-facing role within the hospitality industry, preferably in guest relations or front desk.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
- A proactive approach to service and a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and customer relationship management systems.
