Overview
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire ClaimCenter Architect / Business Architect to join a major insurance transformation programme. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled professional with strong Guidewire ClaimCenter expertise , commercial claims knowledge, and a proven track record of delivering functional architecture within complex insurance environments.
You will be responsible for the functional design of Commercial Claims products, providing strategic design recommendations, defining future-state solutions, and acting as a trusted advisor to key business and technology stakeholders. The successful candidate will also provide leadership and direction to Business Analysts across the programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the functional architecture and design of Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions within a Commercial Claims environment.
- Translate business requirements into scalable functional designs and solution proposals.
- Provide subject matter expertise on Guidewire ClaimCenter capabilities, best practices, and architectural standards.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define target operating models and solution roadmaps.
- Produce and review functional specifications, solution designs, and business architecture artefacts.
- Drive workshops to capture requirements, identify gaps, and recommend optimal solutions.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to Business Analysts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and functional solution design.
- Support delivery teams through implementation, testing, and deployment activities.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience as a Guidewire ClaimCenter Architect , Business Architect, or Functional Architect.
- Strong expertise within Guidewire ClaimCenter .
- GW ACE Certified in ClaimCenter.
- Proven experience designing and delivering Commercial Claims solutions.
- Deep understanding of insurance claims processes and operating models.
- Strong functional design and business architecture experience.
- Experience leading workshops and engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical solution designs.
- Experience managing and mentoring Business Analyst teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working on large-scale insurance transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of the wider Guidewire suite.
- Experience working within London Market or General Insurance environments.
