Gym Floor Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Gym Floor Supervisor to join their fitness facility in Leeds . You will be responsible for overseeing the gym floor, ensuring a safe and positive environment for members, and providing assistance with fitness equipment and programmes. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for fitness, acting as a key point of contact for members and supporting the wider fitness team to deliver exceptional service and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the gym floor, ensuring members adhere to safety guidelines and centre policies.
• Assist members with fitness equipment, providing guidance on proper usage and basic exercise techniques.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gym floor and equipment.
• Respond to member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support fitness instructors and personal trainers in delivering classes and sessions.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures for the facility.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a gym environment or fitness setting.
• Basic knowledge of fitness principles and exercise equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
