About the Role

Our client is searching for a dynamic and results-oriented Gym Manager to oversee their modern fitness facility in the heart of Cardiff . You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, staff management, member acquisition, and retention, ensuring a welcoming and high-performance environment for all patrons. This role requires a strong leader with a passion for health and fitness, excellent operational acumen, and a proven track record in sales and customer service within the fitness industry. You will drive the gym's success by fostering a positive culture and achieving strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of gym operations, including staffing, scheduling, and facility maintenance.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive membership growth and retention.
• Lead, motivate, and train a team of fitness instructors, personal trainers, and reception staff.
• Ensure the highest standards of customer service are met, addressing member feedback promptly.
• Oversee budget management, financial reporting, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in gym management or a senior role within the fitness industry.
• Demonstrated success in sales, marketing, and membership acquisition.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of fitness trends, equipment, and health and safety regulations.
• Relevant qualifications in fitness management or a related field are advantageous.
