About the Role

Our client, a thriving fitness and sports complex in Milton Keynes , is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Gym Operations Manager to lead their state-of-the-art facility. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the gym, maintaining exceptional member experiences, and driving membership growth. You will manage a diverse team of fitness instructors, membership advisors, and support staff, cultivating a positive and motivating atmosphere for both employees and patrons. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of gym operations, including staff management, member services, and facility maintenance.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase membership sales and retention rates.
• Ensure the gym floor is well-maintained, clean, and equipped with up-to-date fitness equipment.
• Manage staff schedules, performance, and ongoing training to ensure high service standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in gym management or a similar leadership role within the fitness industry.
• Proven track record in sales, membership retention, and operational management.
• Strong knowledge of fitness trends, equipment, and health and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and control operational costs effectively.
• Relevant certifications in fitness instruction or management are a plus.
