Gym Operations Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Gym Operations Supervisor to manage the daily operations of their fitness facility in Wolverhampton . This role is critical in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all members. You will lead a team of fitness assistants, handle member inquiries, and ensure the smooth running of all gym facilities and equipment. This is an on-site position for an individual passionate about fitness and dedicated to providing an outstanding member experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support gym staff, ensuring adherence to operational procedures and high service standards.
• Oversee the day-to-day running of the gym floor, including equipment checks and cleanliness.
• Handle member inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Implement and enforce health and safety policies to ensure a secure environment for staff and members.
• Assist in membership sales and retention initiatives.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and report any maintenance or operational issues.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the fitness industry.
• Strong understanding of gym operations and health and safety procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Passion for fitness and a commitment to member satisfaction.
