Gymnastics Coach

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Gymnastics Coach to join their vibrant club in Stoke-on-Trent . This role involves delivering engaging and safe gymnastics programmes for children and young people of all ages and abilities. You will play a key part in developing fundamental movement skills, fostering a love for gymnastics, and nurturing the talent of future athletes within the Stoke-on-Trent community. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality gymnastics coaching sessions according to British Gymnastics guidelines.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during training sessions and events.
• Provide constructive feedback and motivation to gymnasts to encourage skill development and personal growth.
• Assist in the organisation and running of club competitions, displays, and events.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and club management regarding participant progress and club activities.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and uphold club policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in coaching gymnastics, preferably with children and young adults.
• British Gymnastics coaching qualification (e.g., Level 1, Level 2) is essential.
• Current First Aid certification and a valid DBS check.
• A strong understanding of child protection policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Passion for gymnastics and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive sporting environment in Stoke-on-Trent .
