H&S Officer (Manufacturing)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum. Bonus available. 33 Days Holiday. Life Assurance and Sick Pay.

About the Company

Founded nearly 40 years ago, the manufacturer supplies specialist products to aerospace, automotive, and medical industries worldwide. Recent growth includes a new site opening, with a clear direction for the future.

Responsibilities

• Handle H&S issues and conduct audits within a busy manufacturing site.
• Drive the implementation of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 accreditations.
• Split between office‑based and shop‑floor activities across two local sites, Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5pm, finishing at 3:30pm on Fridays.
• Collaborate with quality processes while advancing health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Health & Safety Officer or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Background in manufacturing or a similar industrial setting.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and audit procedures.
