About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Head Catering Chef to lead their dynamic catering division based in London . You will be responsible for conceptualizing, preparing, and delivering exceptional culinary experiences for a diverse range of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale corporate functions. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the catering kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
• Manage and mentor a team of catering staff, ensuring high standards of performance and professional development.
• Source high-quality ingredients, manage inventory, and control food costs effectively.
• Develop innovative and appealing menus that cater to various dietary requirements and client preferences.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
• Liaise directly with clients to understand their needs and ensure seamless execution of catering services for events.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume catering or hospitality environment.
• Exceptional culinary skills with a strong understanding of diverse cuisines and presentation techniques.
• Expertise in food safety , HACCP principles, and relevant health and safety legislation.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
