Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the banqueting kitchen operations, ensuring efficient and high-quality food production.
- Design innovative and appealing menus for various events, considering seasonal ingredients, dietary requirements, and client preferences.
- Manage kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Control food costs, manage inventory, and ensure efficient procurement of ingredients, maintaining strict budget adherence.
- Uphold the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation in the kitchen, complying with all regulations.
- Collaborate with the events team to ensure seamless execution of catering services for all banquets and functions.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, with a strong focus on banqueting and large-scale events.
- Demonstrated expertise in menu engineering, costing, and kitchen management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- A deep understanding of food safety, HACCP principles, and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Creative flair and passion for culinary arts, with the ability to innovate and inspire.
- Flexibility to work demanding hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in Bradford .
