Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the banqueting kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and execution for events.
• Develop creative and appealing menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements and event themes, while controlling food costs.
• Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene are maintained at all times.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to kitchen personnel.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume banqueting or events setting.
• Demonstrable culinary expertise, creativity, and a passion for innovative cuisine.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, and cost control measures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
