Smyth & Co is recruiting an e xceptional Sous Chef for one of the country’s most prestigious private sporting clubs.

This is a rare opportunity for a brilliant cook with Michelin-level experience who is ready to take the next major step in their career. The club is seeking an ambitious and inspirational Sous Chef with the potential to progress into a Head Chef position.

You will work with outstanding seasonal produce, delivering exceptional food for members and guests within a beautiful and highly regarded environment. The operation combines quality, tradition and creativity, requiring someone who can maintain exacting standards while bringing energy, fresh ideas and strong leadership to the kitchen.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience within a Michelin-starred or equivalent high-level kitchen

• Be an outstanding and technically accomplished cook

• Lead, motivate and develop the brigade with confidence

• Demonstrate the maturity and ambition to progress to Head Chef level

• Remain calm, organised and consistent during busy services

• Have excellent knowledge of seasonal British produce

• Bring creativity, personality and genuine passion to the role

• Be available to start at short notice
