Job Description
- Lead and motivate the kitchen team
- Plan and prepare fresh, nutritious meals
- Ensure all dietary and nutritional requirements are met
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards
- Manage stock, ordering and food costs
- Work closely with the care team to ensure residents' needs are met
- Create menus that offer variety and choice
Previous experience as a Head Chef, Chef Manager or Senior Sous Chef - Experience working in a care, healthcare, hotel, restaurant or contract catering environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene
- Good understanding of special dietary requirements
- A caring, organised and hands-on approach
