Head of Asset Management - Lifecycle Delivery
Location: Warrington Contract Type: Contract / Long-Term Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Head of Asset Management - Lifecycle Delivery to lead the organisation's approach to lifecycle management, engineering assurance, reliability, maintainability and asset integrity.
This is a senior technical leadership role, acting as the technical authority for lifecycle asset management and ensuring assets deliver maximum value throughout their lifecycle while balancing performance, risk and cost.
Key Responsibilities
Define enterprise lifecycle management frameworks and methodologies. Establish intervention, maintenance and renewal strategies. Embed whole-life cost and value principles into asset management. Develop and standardise asset criticality and lifecycle planning methodologies. Define and oversee the engineering technical authority framework. Ensure compliance with engineering standards and escalate technical risks. Lead reliability, integrity and risk-based maintenance programmes. Identify systemic reliability risks and failure trends. Drive improvements in asset reliability, availability and maintainability. Define asset management requirements for capital programmes and assure maintainability and operability at handover. Lead engineering, maintenance and lifecycle specialists. Advise Executive Leadership on engineering and lifecycle risks. Establish scalable frameworks and methodologies for wider Group adoption.
About You
Essential:
Minimum 10 years' engineering and asset management leadership experience. Extensive experience in lifecycle planning and engineering assurance. Proven experience developing reliability and maintenance strategies. Experience working within asset-intensive and highly regulated industries. Degree in Engineering, Asset Management or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Chartered Engineer or Chartered status within the relevant professional discipline.Desirable:
Experience leading enterprise engineering functions. Experience delivering asset integrity and reliability improvement programmes. Experience supporting major capital investment programmes. IAM Diploma or equivalent qualification
