Job Description
Head of Commercial Performance Location: Central London Salary: £75,000 to £85,000 + benefits Contract: Permanent, Full Time An established and growing multi-site service business is looking to appoint a Head of Commercial Performance to lead sales performance, customer acquisition and the continued development of the customer journey across the organisation. This is a senior leadership appointment with responsibility for central commercial teams and significant influence across a national network of locations. The successful candidate will combine strong sales leadership with a highly commercial, data-led approach, identifying opportunities to improve conversion, revenue, retention and customer experience.
The Role
You will: * Develop and deliver strategies to improve sales and revenue performance * Lead and develop central customer-facing and commercial teams * Review and improve enquiry handling, sales processes and conversion * Identify new business opportunities and commercial partnerships * Review the end-to-end customer journey and identify areas for improvement * Drive improvements in customer satisfaction, retention and NPS * Use sales and customer data to identify commercial opportunities * Monitor competitor activity and wider market trends * Work closely with Operations and Marketing to deliver shared commercial objectives * Help develop sales capability across the wider business * Produce and present regular commercial and customer performance reporting * Lead change across processes, systems and ways of working
About You
We are looking for an experienced commercial leader with a strong track record of delivering measurable improvements in sales and revenue. You will ideally have: * Significant experience within a senior sales, commercial or customer-focused leadership role * Experience leading sales, customer service, contact centre or business development teams * Although based in Head Office, the successful canddiate must have strong multi-site experience * A proven track record of improving revenue and conversion * Experience improving customer journeys and customer satisfaction * Strong commercial and analytical capability * Confidence using CRM systems, performance data and digital tools * Experience influencing teams across a wider multi-site operation * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills * Experience leading commercial and cultural change Experience within an occupancy, membership, property, leisure, accommodation or utilisation-driven business would be particularly relevant, although strong candidates from other multi-site consumer and service-led environments will also be considered.
