About the Role

Our client, a distinguished charity organisation, is seeking a visionary and strategic Head of Community Engagement to lead their efforts in Belfast . This senior role will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to engage diverse communities, foster support, and drive fundraising initiatives across Northern Ireland. You will play a crucial role in building brand awareness, forging strong local relationships, and ensuring the charity's message resonates effectively with the public. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the implementation of innovative community engagement strategies across Northern Ireland, aligning with organisational goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local organisations, and stakeholders to foster collaboration and support.
• Lead and inspire a team of community engagement officers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Design and execute impactful fundraising campaigns and events tailored to specific community needs and interests.
• Represent the charity at public events, forums, and media engagements, acting as a key spokesperson and advocate.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community engagement programmes, using data to inform future strategies and report on impact.

Requirements

• Significant experience in community development , engagement, or fundraising management, ideally in the non-profit sector.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic plans with measurable outcomes.
• A deep understanding of the social landscape and community dynamics within Northern Ireland.
