A leading professional services organisation has recently taken its Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform environment live and is now moving into the next stage of its transformation.
With the initial implementation complete, the focus is shifting to optimisation, adoption and continued development.
They’re looking for a Head of D365 CE & Power Platform to take ownership of the platform, shape its roadmap and ensure the organisation continues to get value from its investment.
The role
You’ll take overall ownership of the D365 CE and Power Platform estate, moving the organisation from implementation into a mature, product-led approach to platform development.
- Own and develop the D365 CE and Power Platform strategy and roadmap.
- Lead the internal platform team and manage key Microsoft partners and suppliers.
- Work with senior stakeholders to translate business priorities into platform initiatives.
- Establish strong governance across architecture, development, releases and change.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with the wider technology strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement, optimisation and adoption across the organisation.
- Identify opportunities to use Power Apps, Power Automate and the wider Power Platform to improve processes and user experience.
- Prioritise demand across new functionality, technical debt, support and BAU.
About your experience
You’ll have operated at a senior level within a D365 CE / Power Platform environment and understand what it takes to develop a major business platform beyond implementation.
- Strong experience owning or leading a D365 CE and Power Platform environment.
- Experience developing a platform, product or technology roadmap.
- Good knowledge of D365 CE, Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
- An understanding of architecture, integrations, security and platform governance.
- Experience leading internal teams and managing Microsoft partners or suppliers.
- Experience driving platform adoption and continuous improvement.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate across both technology and the wider business.
