About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and dynamic educator to take on the role of Head of Department for English Literature in Bradford . Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and inspire the English Literature teaching team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Develop and implement a challenging and engaging English Literature curriculum across all key stages.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A strong academic background and teaching experience in English Literature at secondary level.
• Proven leadership or management experience within a school setting.
• In-depth knowledge of current English Literature syllabi and assessment requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire both staff and students.
