A highly regarded, forward-thinking law firm in Birmingham — widely recognised within the local and regional legal market — is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Residential Property to lead their well-established conveyancing team.

The Role:

As Head of Residential , you will:

• Lead and manage the residential conveyancing department, overseeing fee earners and support staf
• Play a key role in developing the department’s strategy, client base, and service delivery
• Drive team performance, compliance, and operational efficiency
• Represent the firm in business development, networking, and client relationship management

Requirements:

Significant experience in residential property law , ideally 6+ years PQE

Strong technical ability across all conveyancing matters

Previous experience leading or supervising a team

Excellent commercial awareness and client-facing skills

Ambition to progress into Director-level leadership
