About the Role
Our client, a leading organisation within the Charity & Voluntary sector , is seeking an innovative and strategic Head of Digital Engagement to lead their online presence and outreach efforts. This senior role, based in the Oxford area but operating remotely, is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital strategy to enhance brand awareness, engage supporters, and drive fundraising and advocacy goals. You will leverage digital platforms, social media, content marketing, and online advertising to connect with a wider audience and amplify the charity's message. This is a pivotal opportunity for a digital leader passionate about social impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a cohesive digital engagement strategy across all online channels, including website, social media, email, and paid advertising.
- Lead the content strategy, ensuring engaging, relevant, and impactful content is produced and disseminated.
- Oversee the management and optimisation of the organisation's website and social media platforms.
- Drive digital fundraising campaigns and online supporter acquisition initiatives.
- Analyse digital performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay ahead of digital trends and emerging technologies relevant to the Charity & Voluntary sector .
- Manage the digital engagement budget and external digital agencies where applicable.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in digital marketing and engagement, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful online strategies, preferably in the Charity & Voluntary sector .
- Strong expertise in SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, and email marketing.
- Proficiency in using digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to drive decision-making.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
- Experience managing digital budgets and working with digital agencies.
- A passion for the mission of the organisation and a strong understanding of the non-profit landscape.
