About the Role
Our client is looking for a visionary and strategic Head of Digital Learning to lead their online education strategy from a remote base in Glasgow, Scotland, UK . Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overarching strategy for digital learning across the organization.
- Lead and manage the digital learning team, including instructional designers, technologists, and content specialists.
- Oversee the creation, implementation, and evaluation of online courses and programs.
- Identify and integrate emerging educational technologies to enhance the learning experience.
- Ensure the quality, accessibility, and scalability of all digital learning offerings.
- Manage the budget for digital learning initiatives and report on key performance indicators.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Education, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in leading digital learning initiatives, preferably in a higher education or corporate training environment.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, team leadership, and project management.
- In-depth knowledge of e-learning platforms , instructional design methodologies, and online pedagogy.
- Strong understanding of educational technology trends and their application.
