We are looking for an exceptional education leader with demonstrable experience delivering in the strategic remit of Secondary Schools, Curriculum and Quality Improvement. You will have a track record of setting vision and strategy, leading change, and transformation, developing a high-performance culture and successful partnership working. You will be passionate about improving outcomes for all learners, able to give strategic direction to schools and early years centres and to lead a team of equally dedicated professionals who support and challenge. You will also be able to demonstrate that your budget is fully committed on things that really make a difference to learners, including quality professional learning and support, fully embedding collaboration and empowerment at all levels of the system. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
