About the Role
Our client is looking for a strategic and experienced Head of Finance to lead their financial operations on a fully remote basis, supporting the business based in Norwich . This senior leadership role is responsible for all aspects of financial management, including strategic planning, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. You will provide crucial financial guidance to the board and senior management team, ensuring the company's financial stability and driving its long-term growth objectives. This is a remote-first position offering significant autonomy and the opportunity to shape the financial future of the organization from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy to support business goals.
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, payroll, tax, and treasury functions.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Manage investor relations and communicate financial performance to stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a strong track record.
- Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role (e.g., Finance Director, Head of Finance).
- Proven expertise in financial strategy, corporate finance, and risk management.
- Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting at a strategic level.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
