This is a step up, and a stepping stone. The business is scaling fast, and the intention is clear: build the finance function, prove it, and grow into the Finance Director seat as the company expands.

They don't need a traditional accountant. They need a commercial ace - someone who turns numbers into action and wants to genuinely shape a business alongside its founder, not just report on it.

The role

• Working directly with the founder, you'll own the finances - but more importantly, you'll drive the commercial decisions that move the business forward. You'll be given a lot of rope. Expected to find answers yourself. And trusted to get on with it.
• Build the financial modelling function from the ground up
• Procurement & cost reduction - food, packaging, utilities - find it, own it, execute it
• Building an AI-native finance function
• Shape the finance team and structure as the estate grows

You'll bring

• Multi-site hospitality or QSR experience
• Commercial mindset - you drive actions from analysis, not just produce reports
• AI-native. Entrepreneurial. Self-sufficient.
• CIMA/ACCA/ACA preferred - but instinct beats credentials here
• Ambition to grow into an FD role, not just occupy this one
• Low ego. High ownership.
