About the Role
Our client, a rapidly scaling technology firm, is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead their FP&A function on a fully remote basis. This senior role is responsible for all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting, providing critical insights to drive business strategy and performance. You will collaborate extensively with executive leadership and department heads across the organisation to ensure financial alignment with growth objectives. This is a high-impact, remote-first opportunity for a seasoned finance leader to shape the financial future of a dynamic company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the annual budgeting and long-term strategic planning processes.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, analysing variances and identifying key trends.
- Develop and deliver insightful management reports and board presentations to support decision-making.
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial guidance, performance analysis, and strategic support.
- Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- MBA, Master's degree in Finance, or equivalent relevant professional qualification.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, with significant leadership responsibility.
- Proven expertise in building and managing complex financial models and forecasting systems.
- Strong understanding of financial metrics, business drivers, and strategic finance principles.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
