Head of Financial Planning & Analysis

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and accomplished Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead their FP&A function remotely. This senior leadership role will be responsible for driving financial strategy, overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing critical insights to support business growth and profitability. You will work from home, collaborating closely with executive leadership and department heads across the company to enhance financial performance and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
• Develop robust financial models to analyze business performance, identify trends, and forecast future outcomes.
• Provide insightful analysis on key financial metrics, KPIs, and business drivers to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Mentor and develop the FP&A team, fostering a high-performance culture within a remote environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) highly desirable.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and performance management.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, management accounting, and corporate finance.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, effective in a remote setting.
• Proficiency in financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan) and advanced Excel skills.
