About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead their FP&A function in Bristol . This senior role is responsible for driving financial strategy, forecasting, budgeting, and providing critical insights to guide business growth and profitability. You will lead a team of analysts, collaborate closely with executive leadership, and ensure the financial health and strategic direction of the company. This is a significant opportunity to shape financial planning processes and contribute to the company's long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the annual budgeting and long-term financial planning processes.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly financial performance reports, variance analyses, and forecasts.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and support to business leaders across the organization.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to track business performance.
- Manage and mentor the FP&A team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Conduct scenario analysis and financial modeling to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
Requirements
- MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic financial management.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working with financial planning software and ERP systems.
