About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to meet and exceed annual income targets across various channels, including major gifts, corporate partnerships, grants, and events.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including major donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors, ensuring engagement and retention.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a dedicated fundraising team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Oversee the creation of compelling fundraising materials, proposals, and reports, effectively communicating the organization's impact and needs.
- Analyze fundraising performance data, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven track record in fundraising, with significant experience in developing and delivering successful fundraising strategies, preferably within the charity sector .
- Demonstrated success in securing major gifts and building strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals and corporate entities.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Strong understanding of fundraising best practices, ethical standards, and relevant legislation.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas persuasively.
