This senior leadership role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy across all channels, including major gifts, corporate partnerships, grants, and community fundraising. You will lead a dedicated team, inspire new donor engagement, and ensure sustainable income growth to support the organization's critical mission. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a robust, multi-year fundraising strategy to meet organizational income targets.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the fundraising team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Cultivate and solicit major gifts from high-net-worth individuals and foundations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners and explore new strategic alliances.
- Oversee the grant application process and ensure compliance with funder requirements.
- Drive innovation in fundraising approaches, including digital and legacy giving.
- Provide strategic financial oversight and reporting on all fundraising activities.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in senior fundraising roles, with a proven track record of success in leading diverse fundraising streams.
- Demonstrated success in securing significant donations from major donors and corporations.
- Strong leadership, team management, and strategic planning skills.
- In-depth knowledge of fundraising best practices, ethics, and compliance within the charity sector .
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and lead a dispersed team effectively in a remote setting.
