Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive fundraising strategies across various channels (e.g., individual giving, corporate, trusts, events).
- Lead, manage, and mentor the fundraising team, fostering a culture of collaboration and achievement.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with major donors, potential corporate sponsors, and grant-making bodies.
- Oversee the planning and execution of high-profile fundraising events.
- Monitor fundraising performance, analyze data, and report on progress to senior management and the board.
Requirements
- Significant experience in a senior fundraising or income generation role, ideally within the charity sector.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies and campaigns.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a strategic mindset for the Brighton area.
