About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and cultivate new partnership opportunities within Birmingham and the wider West Midlands region.
• Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term sustainability.
• Oversee the stewardship of existing partnerships, fostering strong relationships and maximizing collaboration.
• Represent the charity at high-profile networking events, conferences, and corporate functions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure partnership activities are integrated effectively across the organization.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in partnership development , corporate social responsibility, or business development, ideally within the non-profit sector .
• Proven track record of successfully securing and managing significant partnerships and funding streams.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport at all levels.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute long-term partnership plans.
• In-depth understanding of the charitable sector and the motivations of potential partners.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK for meetings and events.
