About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary and highly experienced Head of Procurement Operations to establish and lead their entire procurement function remotely. This leadership role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing all operational aspects of procurement globally. You will define and enforce procurement policies, procedures, and systems to ensure efficiency, compliance, and best value. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to build and optimize procurement processes in a distributed workforce environment. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient and effective procurement operations processes and policies globally.
• Oversee the end-to-end procure-to-pay (P2P) cycle, ensuring compliance and control.
• Manage supplier onboarding, contract administration, and compliance monitoring.
• Lead the implementation and optimization of procurement technology solutions, such as e-sourcing and spend analytics tools.
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing, globally distributed procurement operations team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks within procurement operations.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a senior leadership role within procurement operations or supply chain management.
• Proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing global procurement processes and systems.
• Strong expertise in procure-to-pay (P2P) processes, contract management, and supplier governance.
• Demonstrated success in leading and developing remote or distributed teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and change management skills.
