About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished and strategic leader to assume the role of Head of Project Management within their organization, operating on a fully remote basis. This senior leadership position will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the company's project management framework, standards, and best practices across all departments. You will lead a team of project managers, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the successful delivery of strategic initiatives that align with the company's vision and goals, making a significant impact on organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and maintain the company-wide project management methodology and governance structures.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
• Oversee the strategic portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and resource optimization.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for project delivery and monitor performance across the organization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management function, implementing best practices and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in Project Management leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing diverse project portfolios.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing project management frameworks and standards.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and team management capabilities.
• Expertise in various project management methodologies and their application in large organizations.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant degree and professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are essential.
