About the Role
Our client is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to fill the role of Head of Public Relations . This is a senior, fully remote position with the autonomy to shape and direct the company's entire public relations function. You will be responsible for developing and implementing high-level PR strategies that enhance brand reputation, manage corporate messaging, and drive media engagement on a national and international scale. This pivotal role is ideal for an accomplished PR leader who thrives on strategic challenges, possesses exceptional leadership qualities, and is adept at navigating complex communication landscapes, working from any preferred location within the UK, fostering a culture of impactful and innovative public relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, forward-thinking public relations strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of PR professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Oversee all media relations, including proactive outreach, crisis management, and executive profiling.
- Craft and approve key corporate messages and external communications.
- Manage the PR budget effectively and ensure optimal allocation of resources.

Requirements
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in public relations, with a significant portion in a leadership or senior management role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful, large-scale PR campaigns.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing crises and sensitive public issues with composure and effectiveness.
- Master's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
