About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned professional to serve as the Head of Supply Chain Operations , based in Bristol . This senior leadership role is responsible for the strategic direction and operational execution of all supply chain activities, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resilience. You will lead a dedicated team, optimize complex logistics networks, and foster strong relationships with suppliers and partners. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of global supply chains and a commitment to driving operational excellence, requiring a consistent presence at our Bristol headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, planning, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
• Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the reliability and quality of goods and services.
• Implement advanced inventory management techniques to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.
• Drive initiatives to enhance supply chain visibility, sustainability, and risk management.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a senior Supply Chain Management role, with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain strategies.
• Deep understanding of global logistics, procurement, inventory control, and demand planning.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in managing complex operational budgets and driving cost-saving initiatives.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
