Are you a senior Technical leader looking for an opportunity to shape strategy, influence business performance and drive quality, compliance and sustainability across a growing manufacturing operation?

We're partnering with a well-established manufacturing business seeking an experienced Head of Technical to lead the technical, food safety, quality and ESG agenda. This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, develop long-term technical strategy and ensure the highest standards are maintained across operations and customer supply chains.

The Role

• Develop and deliver the company's technical strategy to support business growth and customer expectations.
• Lead food safety, quality and compliance activities across the business.
• Own and continuously improve the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with BRCGS, HACCP and legislative requirements.
• Drive sustainability and ESG initiatives, including environmental performance, waste reduction and reporting frameworks.
• Lead customer, regulatory and third-party audit activities.
• Partner closely with Operations and other business functions to deliver continuous improvement projects.
• Coach, develop and lead the technical team while embedding a strong culture of quality and compliance.
• Act as the senior technical contact for customers, suppliers and certification bodies.

About You

• Proven senior technical leadership experience within food, beverage, alcohol or related manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, food safety systems and regulatory compliance.
• Experience developing and implementing sustainability or ESG strategies.
• Able to influence stakeholders at all levels of the business.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• A confident leader passionate about driving standards, developing people and delivering operational excellence.
