About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Head Physiotherapist to lead their sports injury clinic and performance support services in Nottingham . This senior role involves managing a team of physiotherapists, overseeing patient care pathways, and contributing to the performance and well-being of athletes. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice, developing rehabilitation programs, and collaborating with coaches and medical professionals to ensure optimal recovery and injury prevention strategies. The ideal candidate is a clinical leader with a passion for sports medicine and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the physiotherapy team, ensuring high standards of patient care and clinical practice.
- Develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs for athletes with sports-related injuries.
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Collaborate with coaches, sports scientists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize athlete health and performance.
- Oversee the efficient operation of the physiotherapy clinic, including scheduling and resource management.
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy and sports medicine, integrating evidence-based practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Physiotherapy and registration with the HCPC.
- Minimum of 7 years' post-graduate experience, with a significant portion in sports physiotherapy.
- Post-graduate qualifications in sports physiotherapy or a related field are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a clinical team.
- Excellent diagnostic, manual therapy, and exercise prescription skills.
