About the Role

Our client, a leading sports facility in Coventry , is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Head Squash Coach to lead their squash programs. This role is crucial for developing talent at all levels, from beginners to competitive players, and for promoting squash within the club and local community. You will be responsible for creating engaging training plans, delivering high-quality coaching sessions, and fostering a positive and encouraging environment for all participants. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive squash coaching programs for various age groups and skill levels.
• Conduct individual and group coaching sessions, focusing on technique, strategy, and fitness.
• Organize and run inter-club matches, tournaments, and social events to enhance player engagement.
• Assess player performance and provide constructive feedback and personalized development plans.
• Manage squash court bookings and ensure efficient utilization of facilities.
• Promote squash activities and membership to attract new participants to the club.

Requirements

• Relevant coaching qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Squash Coaching certification.
• A minimum of 3 years of coaching experience, preferably in a club or academy setting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and motivate players of diverse abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A passion for squash and a commitment to player development and sportsmanship.
• Ability to adapt coaching methods to suit different learning styles and needs.
