About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Head Tennis Coach to lead their tennis program in Birmingham . This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive training programs for players of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to competitive athletes. You will be responsible for fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment, driving player development, and promoting the sport within the community. The ideal candidate is a dynamic individual with a passion for tennis, excellent coaching abilities, and a strong understanding of modern coaching methodologies, contributing to the growth and success of the club's tennis facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality tennis coaching sessions for individuals and groups across various age and skill levels.
• Develop and implement a structured training curriculum focusing on technique, strategy, fitness, and sportsmanship.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage assistant coaches, ensuring a cohesive and effective coaching team.
• Organize and run tennis clinics, camps, and tournaments to enhance player engagement and development.
• Promote the club's tennis programs to attract new members and participants.
• Assess player progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development goals.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in coaching tennis at a competitive level.
• Recognized tennis coaching certification (e.g., LTA Level 3 or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of tennis techniques, strategies, and player development pathways.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Ability to create engaging and effective training plans.
• Experience in managing coaching staff and program operations.
