About the Role

Our client, a leading sports club in Coventry , is seeking an enthusiastic and highly qualified Head Tennis Coach to lead their tennis program. This role is crucial for developing and nurturing talent across all age groups and skill levels, from beginners to elite players. You will be responsible for creating and delivering an inspiring coaching curriculum, managing a team of coaches, and fostering a strong, positive culture within the tennis section. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive tennis coaching programs for juniors and adults, including group lessons, private coaching, and squad training.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of assistant tennis coaches, ensuring consistent quality and delivery of coaching.
• Recruit and retain members for the tennis program, actively promoting tennis participation within the club and the wider community.
• Develop and implement player development pathways, focusing on technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of the game.
• Organize and manage internal club tournaments, leagues, and external competitions.
• Collaborate with club management to ensure the effective use of facilities and resources.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive coaching experience, with at least 2 years in a Head Coach or senior coaching capacity.
• Accreditation from a recognized national or international tennis coaching body (e.g., LTA, USTA, ITF).
• Demonstrated success in developing players to competitive levels.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in program development and managing coaching staff.
