Job Description
Health & Safety Advisor | Gosberton, Spalding | £34,000 + Package
Well-established family-run main contractor is looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to support SHEQ across their construction projects and wider business, based in Gosberton near Spalding.
You'll be out on site providing practical H&S advice to Project Managers, Site Managers and site teams — carrying out inspections and audits, reviewing RAMS, investigating incidents and helping build a strong, proactive safety culture. A hands-on advisory role with real influence rather than just box-ticking.
The role:
* Site inspections, audits and monitoring SHEQ standards
* Reviewing risk assessments and method statements
* Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses
* Delivering toolbox talks, inductions and briefings
* Supporting ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 accreditations
* Attending project and site meetings
What we're looking for:
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent
* Construction industry experience
* Strong grounding in SHEQ legislation and CDM
* Confident carrying out inspections, audits and investigations
* IOSH membership (or working towards) desirable
* Full UK driving licence required
* Enhanced DBS required
The package:
* Company vehicle or fuel allowance
* Profit share scheme
* Early finish Fridays
* 21 days holiday, increasing with service
