Health and Safety Manager
Day Rate: £400 / day (Outside IR35)
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Duration: 8 Months
We are supporting a leading organisation in the logistics sector to recruit a Health and Safety Manager for a new build project in Stoke-on-Trent. The role involves directing safety operations on site, ensuring compliance, and fostering a proactive safety culture across all activities related to the project. This is an initial 8-month assignment, with a 5-day on-site schedule.
The key responsibilities include:
Leading health and safety management on a large-scale construction site
Conducting regular on-site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Liaising with main contractors, sub-contractors, and project teams to enforce safety standards
Implementing and monitoring safety procedures aligned with project requirements and regulations
Supporting incident investigations and safety trainingThe ideal candidate will have:
NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification
Proven experience working directly with main contractors on similar projects
Strong understanding of SHE shed's experience and managing safety on large construction sites
