Are you a proactive Health & Safety professional who enjoys being out on the shop floor, engaging with people and driving positive change?
Do you want the opportunity to shape health and safety culture within a successful manufacturing business while working alongside an experienced operations team that genuinely values H&S?
If so, we'd love to hear from you.
The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established and respected manufacturing business based near Maidstone. Following an internal promotion, they are looking to appoint a Health & Safety Manager to take ownership of all health, safety and compliance activities across their manufacturing, warehouse, office and remote sales operations.
This is a highly visible role where you'll spend time working closely with managers and employees on site, helping to embed best practice and create a positive safety culture throughout the business.
The company already has strong foundations in place, including digital systems and access to specialist external consultants for complex technical areas. However, there is genuine scope to further improve processes, systems and engagement, making this an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys driving continuous improvement.
Equally, the business is open to developing the right individual. If you're currently working as a Health & Safety Advisor and are ready to progress into a management role, full support will be provided, including ongoing professional development and NEBOSH progression where required.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading health and safety activities across the manufacturing site and wider business

Supporting managers and supervisors to improve safety awareness and accountability
Investigating incidents, near misses and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
