About the Role
Our client is seeking a specialized Healthcare Architect to join their practice in Edinburgh . Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design of healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with national standards and healthcare best practices.
- Collaborate closely with clients, medical staff, and consultants to define project requirements and functional layouts.
- Develop detailed design proposals, technical drawings, and specifications for healthcare buildings.
- Ensure designs meet stringent requirements for infection control, patient safety, accessibility, and technological integration.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, coordinating with construction teams throughout the building process.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and innovations in healthcare architecture and technology.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect with ARB registration.
- Proven experience (4+ years) specifically in healthcare architectural design.
- In-depth knowledge of NHS guidelines, HTM, HBN, and other relevant healthcare standards.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit) and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of medical equipment integration and building services for healthcare.
- Excellent communication, client management, and problem-solving skills.
