About the Role

Our client is seeking a specialized and dedicated Healthcare Architect to join their esteemed practice in Sunderland . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with specific healthcare standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and user groups to translate operational requirements into effective architectural solutions.
• Integrate specialized medical equipment and services seamlessly into building designs.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant UK health building notes, technical memorandums, and national guidelines.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants (MEP, structural) to ensure integrated and functional designs.
• Manage project timelines and budgets for healthcare architectural projects.

Requirements

• A degree in Architecture with a demonstrable specialization in healthcare design.
• Significant professional experience (6+ years) focusing on healthcare projects.
• In-depth knowledge of UK health building regulations, HBNs, HTMs, and healthcare planning principles.
• Proficiency in architectural design software, including BIM tools like Revit.
• Experience in liaising with NHS trusts or private healthcare providers is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
