About the Role

Our client is looking for a specialized and detail-oriented Healthcare Architect to join their team in Southampton . This role focuses on the design and development of state-of-the-art healthcare facilities, requiring a deep understanding of the unique functional, technical, and regulatory demands of this sector. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of healthcare facilities , including hospitals, clinics, and specialized medical centres.
• Ensure all designs comply with stringent healthcare regulations, standards (e.g., HTM/HBN), and best practices.
• Collaborate with clients, clinical staff, and consultants to define project requirements and operational needs.
• Develop detailed architectural plans, specifications, and models using relevant software.
• Oversee the design process through all project stages, from feasibility to completion.

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with demonstrable experience in designing healthcare projects .
• Thorough knowledge of UK healthcare building notes (HBNs) and health technical memoranda (HTMs).
• Proficiency in Revit and other relevant architectural design software.
• Experience in coordinating with multi-disciplinary design teams and specialist consultants.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
